Rotary Bangalore Midtown organized a dedicated Eye Screening Camp for underprivileged children in LR Nagar, in collaboration with Shraddha Eye Care. The initiative aimed to detect vision problems at an early stage and ensure that children from low-income households receive timely and quality eye care. Many children in such communities remain unaware of underlying vision issues, which can affect their learning, confidence, and overall development.

At the camp, children underwent comprehensive eye examinations conducted by qualified ophthalmologists and technicians from Shraddha Eye Care. Those diagnosed with refractive errors were provided with free spectacles, while children with more serious conditions were counselled and referred for further treatment. The camp not only offered essential clinical services but also created awareness among parents about the importance of regular eye check-ups and early intervention.

This initiative reflects Rotary Bangalore Midtown’s commitment to improving child health and ensuring equal access to essential medical care for all sections of society.
