My name is Jawahar Gopal. I am 70 , and have been a Midtowner for more than half my life.
I have been loaned the membership category of- Furniture Manufacturing.
My family owns a furniture making Company called Featherlite.
It was founded by my father 60 years ago and my brothers and I now run it.
I have also diversified a little into Real Estate development.
I have had a wonderful time at this club and have made so many friends here, and some of them are my best friends today.
I love travelling, reading, singing, movies, and stand-up comedy.
I love playing golf
(badly, I must add), but I have slightly indisposed and hope to get back to it very soon.
My favourite song is from the movie “ Hum Dono,” starring the evergreen Dev Anand, singing –“ Main Zindagi ka Saath Nibhata chala Gayaa”,
