Rotary Bangalore Midtown successfully organized a Free Artificial Limb Camp from 10th to 12th April 2026 at the Rajeev Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences & Research Center, Hassan. The initiative was undertaken with the objective of restoring mobility, dignity, and independence to individuals with limb disabilities.
As part of this impactful project, the club sponsored 100 artificial limb operations, reaffirming its strong commitment to inclusive healthcare and community service. The camp provided comprehensive support including artificial limb fittings for amputees, calipers for polio-affected patients, and essential assistive devices, along with proper assessment, customization, and guidance for long-term usage.
A dedicated team of medical professionals, technicians, and Rotary volunteers worked collaboratively to ensure seamless execution and personalized care for each beneficiary. The structured approach and hands-on support enabled beneficiaries to regain mobility and confidence, significantly improving their overall quality of life. The project was further strengthened by a generous sponsorship contribution of ₹2,25,000 on behalf of PP Rtn. Ravishankar G towards Sponsorship Support – Artificial Limb Camp 2026, which played a crucial role in enabling the successful execution and scale of the initiative.
This project stands as a testament to Rotary Bangalore Midtown’s unwavering dedication to service, creating meaningful and sustainable impact in the lives of those in need.
