Rotary Bangalore Midtown supported the installation of three solar water heaters for a CRPF unit responsible for training elite Belgian Malinois dogs, addressing a critical daily hardship faced by jawans who endure extreme weather conditions. While the service dogs receive excellent care, this initiative brought much-needed warmth, dignity, and comfort to the soldiers who train and protect them.

Through a dedicated fundraising effort, ₹2,00,000 was raised to install the solar water-heating systems at the camp facility. The CRPF unit and the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) expressed their heartfelt gratitude for this thoughtful humanitarian support.

This initiative also reflects Rotary Bangalore Midtown’s commitment to sustainable and responsible service. By adopting solar energy, the project not only improves the daily living conditions of CRPF personnel but also promotes environmentally friendly practices and long-term cost efficiency. Beyond infrastructure support, the gesture stands as a symbol of respect and recognition for the sacrifices made by the jawans, reinforcing the message that those who protect the nation deserve care, comfort, and appreciation in their everyday lives.

By addressing a basic yet essential need through a sustainable solution, Rotary Bangalore Midtown reaffirmed its commitment to meaningful service and compassion—true to its motto, Service Above Self.
