Rotary Bangalore Midtown organized two Mega Voluntary Blood Donation Drives in February 2026, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Karnataka Voluntary Blood Donors’ Association, Seshadripuram Educational Institutions, NSS, NCC, Youth Red Cross, and Rotaract, commemorating the 114th Birth Anniversary of Late K. M. Nanjappa.

The first drive, held on 6 February 2026 at Seshadripuram College Campus, collected 692 units of blood, while the second drive on 18 February 2026 at Seshadripuram First Grade College, Yelahanka, collected 451 units. Together, a total of 1,143 units were donated, significantly strengthening Bengaluru’s blood banks.

The drives were efficiently managed with the support of medical teams and trained volunteers, ensuring safe donation practices and smooth coordination. Students, faculty, and community members participated enthusiastically, including many first-time donors.

This initiative not only addressed the critical need for blood but also raised awareness about voluntary donation and encouraged a culture of social responsibility. Through these impactful drives, Rotary Bangalore Midtown reinforced its commitment to life-saving community service and collaborative action.
