Rotary Bangalore Midtown successfully organized the Project SPARKL donation handover ceremony at the Need Base India – Lakshya Centre, reaffirming its commitment to supporting children through education and holistic development.
Project SPARKL is a child-focused educational initiative aimed at bridging learning gaps and helping children better understand their lessons, while building confidence and fostering a positive attitude towards learning. The project creates a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to grow academically at their own pace.
The ceremony was graced by Rtn. Sreedhar B. R., District Governor, RID 3191, as the Chief Guest, and Rtn. Sanjeev Shah of the Rotary Club of Singapore as the Guest of Honour along with Rotary Bangalore Midtown members. Both dignitaries emphasized the importance of international Rotary partnerships in strengthening impactful educational initiatives.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the formal cheque handover of a total of ₹29,11,000 (Rupees Twenty-Nine Lakh Eleven Thousand only) towards Project SPARKL, jointly contributed by Rotary Bangalore Midtown and the Rotary Club of Singapore. This combined support reflects a strong spirit of international collaboration and a shared commitment to advancing education.
The event reflected Rotary Bangalore Midtown’s dedication to Service Above Self, demonstrating how collective efforts and global partnerships can create meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of children and the community.
