Pulse Polio is a nationwide immunisation initiative aimed at protecting children below five years of age from poliomyelitis, a highly infectious and crippling disease. Through regular vaccination drives, the programme plays a vital role in maintaining India’s polio-free status and ensuring a healthy future for children.
On 21 December 2025, Rotary Bangalore Midtown successfully conducted a Pulse Polio Camp at Srirampuram PHC under the guidance of PP Rtn. Kunja. The camp was carried out smoothly with systematic planning and effective coordination, ensuring that children received polio drops safely and in a timely manner.
This initiative reflects Rotary’s long-standing commitment to public health and its global mission of “End Polio Now.” Through consistent participation in Pulse Polio programmes, Rotary continues to support government efforts and strengthen community awareness about the importance of immunisation. The successful execution of the camp once again highlights the dedication of Rotary members to safeguarding the health and well-being of future generations.
